Player Analytics Dashboard

We are introducing Analytics Dashboard, this is a dashboard that allows the users to track their performance. The dashboard contains graphical representations of player mechanics trends.

It can also be analyzed as per reports. The dashboard contents are given below.

Graphical Representations of the mechanics metrics

There are several filters as well that let users track their performance in a chosen interval of time. With this feature a user can easily check their performance on a weekly or monthly basis.

Dashboard also shows a recommended drills section which will help players grow and overcome their shortcomings. The recommended drills sections looks something like this

Pitching

The Observation tab in report mechanics has fields like arm speed, velocity, spin rate, arm slot, etc., to let the coach/player/parent add more insights about the pitcher. In this way these insights are stored in this report analytics and can be compared to the next pitch to get better insights on players growth.

Users can also add any custom metrics that they have with them but are unable to find them here.

To do so one need to enter the metric they need to analyze

Then they need to select the unit of measurement for that metric

Finally entering the value of that metric in the current result field and saving the metric will make the custom metric show up on the observations tab.

The Efficiency tab shows the metrics that are analyzed by us from the video.

Each metric is a score that players get out of 10 for pitching, for hitting analysis the score is out of 5.

A user can also select the report for which they want to see their analytics report from the dropdown present at the top of report mechanics.

Hitting

The Observation tab in report mechanics has fields like applied power, attack angle, hand speed, hand cast, etc., to let the coach/player/parent add more insights about the hitter. In this way these insights are stored in this report analytics and can be compared to the next hitting to get better insights on players growth.

Users can also add any custom metrics that they have with them but are unable to find them here.

Then they need to select the unit of measurement for that metric

Finally entering the value of that metric in the current result field and saving the metric will make the custom metric show up on the observations tab.

The Setup, Drive and Contact tabs show the metrics of the hitter.
